Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 6 orientation hours provided
• Care for adults and geriatrics patient populations
• Daily census of 20 patients in a 20-bed unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be proficient in feeding tube care and management, heparin administration, isolation precautions, telemetry, starting and maintaining IVs, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, and various other med/surg skills
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Holiday work requirement: Expected to work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7-day RTO allowed
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
