Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required with Cath Lab and IR RN experience
• Must have experience with Conscious Sedation and ICU or ED background
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Self-scheduling available
• Call requirements: 1730-0700 weekdays and 1730 Friday to 0700 Monday for weekends on rotation
• Average of approximately 9-14 days of call in a six-week period
• Patient ratios: 3-4 patients during days, on-call for nights and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census ranges from 5-24 cases
• Work in 4-room cardiac catheterization lab
• 30-hour orientation period
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Handle diagnostic catheterizations, STEMI and NSTEMI procedures, peripheral AVF angios and thrombectomies, IVC filters, pacemaker inserts and generator changes, loop inserts and removals, EP studies, pain procedures, and cardioversions
• Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps and temporary pacers
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interventional radiology

The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
