Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Primary role in Level 3 NICU with every other weekend schedule
• Must be proficient and able to function independently in critical care of neonates including intubation (>22 wga)
• Obtain arterial blood samples and assist in high risk, low volume bedside procedures
• Must possess adult critical care skills including intubation, airway management, and arterial line insertion
• Float within hospital/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• No call requirements
• 2 years minimum experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• RRT License Required - CRT NOT ACCEPTED
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, State licensed
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period (1-2 holidays = work all, 3 holidays = work 2)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
