Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Level I trauma center emergency department position
• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6, potentially up to 1:8 during high volume periods
• Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule
• May work 1, 2, or all 3 days of assigned weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to pediatric emergency department as needed
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving/Day After, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Traveler may request one holiday off
• 36 hours of orientation required
• 5 hours of non-billable module education must be completed before working
• 2 years minimum nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: State license, ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred
• Triage experience preferred
• Care for patients of all ages including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 250 patients with 100 beds
• 5-day maximum RTO policy with all requests submitted at time of application

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
