Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required
• Every other holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Triage experience required (hard stop requirement)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Within past 8 months, must have worked in an ED setting with at least 125 visits per day
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Float required within skillset as needed
• No on-call required
• Perform IV starts and phlebotomy
• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Requires expert prioritization and organizational skills to manage fast-paced ER environment

This healthcare facility operates a high-volume emergency department with 40 rooms and 40 beds, serving approximately 130 patients daily. The emergency department provides comprehensive care for patients across all age groups and maintains a fast-paced environment requiring expert clinical skills. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support services and utilizes modern technology including Cerner EMR systems to deliver quality patient care.
