Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Patient ratio of 6:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• 48 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle diagnoses including stroke, COPD, AKI, chest pain, diabetes, COVID, pneumonia, and general med/surg
• Work with Epic charting system (preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills include isolation precautions, med/surg, telemetry, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Holiday policy: work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Self-scheduling
• Access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
