Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit does not accept first time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday work requirements: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both holidays if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 out of 3 if 3 holidays fall during assignment
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
• Required certifications: BLS
• Required skills: Isolation Precautions, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Telemetry, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
