Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday rotation
• First week may include day shift orientation during weekdays, followed by set schedule
• On-call required with 1-hour response time: Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float to other pediatric imaging locations for critical staffing coverage as needed
• May float between buildings on same campus when required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• Accepted certifications: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R)
• OR experience and C-arm experience required with additional training available
• O-arm experience preferred with training available
• Trauma experience and pediatrics experience preferred but not required
• Must provide own radiation badge - facility does not provide to travelers
• South Carolina license must be in hand prior to start date
• Scrub color: Teal top/Black bottom
• Epic charting system
• 8-hour orientation
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Work with patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Equipment includes Siemens Diagnostic Equipment and C-Arms
• Procedures include fluoroscopy, portable, OR, and ED imaging
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November)

This is a Level 1 pediatric teaching hospital with Magnet designation and 865 total staffed beds. The facility specializes in comprehensive pediatric care including inpatient and outpatient services with advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities. The hospital maintains state-of-the-art equipment and provides specialized training for complex procedures, supporting both routine and emergency pediatric imaging needs across multiple departments including OR, ED, NICU, and PICU.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
