Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Work in a 5-room interventional radiology department
• Weekend call required (on average, every 6th weekend)
• Weekday call from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM (approximately 4 weekdays per month)
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty - first time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and ARRT VI
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Care for patients of all ages: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and various minimally invasive procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and 3D imaging
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with complex interventional procedures
• May be assigned to emergency team during facility emergencies with expectation to remain until event passes
