Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Work in 5-room interventional radiology unit
• Weekend call required (on average, every 6th weekend)
• Weekday call from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM (roughly 4 weekdays per month)
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and ARRT VI
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Treat patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform various interventional procedures including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and biopsy procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup
• Work with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS systems
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during facility emergency events with expectation to remain until event passes
• No call-ins allowed - strict attendance policy
• Must have Louisiana license or compact license upon submittal

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
