Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on general medical/surgical unit caring for mostly geriatric population with varying diagnoses
• 2 years of nursing experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend
• No call required
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Skills required: feeding tube care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV care and management, telemetry monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Expected to work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission

This healthcare facility operates a 29-bed medical/surgical unit with a daily census of approximately 26 patients.
