Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts with 6:30 AM or 7:30 AM start times
• Rotating call coverage for weekends and evenings
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine and CT Tech experience required, 3 years preferred
• Required certifications: CNMT and State License
• California license must be in hand before submitting
• Perform nuclear cardiology procedures using Phillips and Siemens equipment
• Conduct various nuclear medicine procedures including gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, and PET scans
• Perform bone, brain, liver, and renal imaging studies
• Conduct stress testing including exercise/rest protocols, adenosine and persantine infusions
• Handle radioactive materials storage, handling, and disposal procedures
• Draw venous blood, start and maintain IVs
• Follow isolation precautions protocols
• Operate PET/CT equipment
• Complete 2-4 hours of billable orientation modules
