Opportunity:
RN - Observation Unit
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• No overtime required
• 23-hour observation unit for ambulatory surgery patients
• Patient ratio of 3:1 during day shifts
• Daily census of 5 patients with 5 beds total
• Care for both adult and pediatric patients
• 12 hours of unit orientation at work site
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs
• Floating required to sister facilities including downtown, Main, and West Campus
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: SC State/Compact RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Royal or Navy Blue scrubs required
• Skills include emergency department experience, pediatrics, medication administration, IV management, and patient teaching
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks but does not allow call outs
• Must complete pre-start compliance modules (average 4 hours, non-billable)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
