Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Christmas Eve or Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required when census is down across all facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients
• Skills include blood product administration, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry, wound care, and more
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Unit has 30 beds with daily census of 16
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
