Opportunity:
RN - Observation Unit
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM Monday through Thursday
• No weekend requirements - unit closed on holidays
• No on-call responsibilities
• No overtime required
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for both days and nights
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities (downtown, Main, West Campus)
• Care for adults and pediatric patients in 23-hour observation unit
• Work in ambulatory surgery center housing overnight observation surgery patients
• Daily census of 5 patients with 5 beds total
• Staffed with 2 nurses and PCT Monday-Thursday nights
• Required certifications: SC State/Compact RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and trauma level I/II experience preferred
• Royal or Navy Blue scrubs required
• 12-hour orientation (3 days) at work site
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks but does not allow call outs
• Must maintain 60-mile radius rule
• All RTO must be included at time of submission

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
