RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 13-week assignment duration starting as soon as possible
• Function as OR RN Circulator with minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be proficient in Orthopedics (total joints), General surgery, and OB procedures
• Call required every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Daily census of 12 patients with 12 visits per day in 5 operating rooms
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Work with diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Kansas nursing license required (in hand or compact accepted)
• Must have experience with special procedures including Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, General surgery, Endoscopy, and Labor & Delivery C-sections
• Skills required include various surgical procedures such as arthroscopy, joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and wound management
• Work with specialized equipment including Hana Table
• May be required to float to different units
• Complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start
• First time travelers not accepted
