Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
• Call requirements as needed (very minimal - mostly helping full-time staff)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Clean nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Manager interview required
• Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit
• Extensive skills required including cardiac catheterization procedures, interventional procedures, procedural sedation, IV management, and various cardiac interventions
• Must be comfortable working with advanced cardiovascular equipment and procedures

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive Invasive Cardiology unit with 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, 2 shared cath/EP labs, and 29 prep/recovery bays. The unit performs over 6,000 procedures annually and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO, structural heart procedures including TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy procedures.
