Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12s or 4x12s schedule
• 2E overflow unit with 24 beds and daily census of 24 patients
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for both days and nights
• Charge coverage responsibilities may be required with training and resources provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical surgical diagnoses
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating is 100% required to other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Indiana residents not accepted for this position
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Must use Cerner charting system
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must have nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited university
• 2 supervisor references required
• Indiana license, compact license, or temporary license must be in hand at start date
