Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour contracts available
• Patient ratios of 1:5 (possible 1:6)
• Weekend requirement: 2 per 4 week schedule (may vary by unit)
• Floating is an expectation to MS/Tele, PCU and lower acuity settings within skillset
• Float to ED with 1:5 ratios
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Guaranteed contracted hours (36/48/40) per week
• Facility may call off up to 3 times during 13-week assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• No on-call requirements
• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must be comfortable with adults and geriatrics patient population
• Scrub color: Black (not provided)
• Charting system: Cerner
• No parking fees
• Overtime after 48 hours (must be pre-approved)
• Hospital operates at over 100% capacity
• Primary nursing with limited ancillary support expected
• No locals within 75 miles accepted
• NM license can be pending at time of submission

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
