Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48-hour contracts per week with guaranteed contracted hours
• Patient ratios of 1:5 (possible 1:6) for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required to other MS/Tele, PCU, and lower acuity settings within skillset; ED float ratios are 1:5
• Weekend requirement: 2 per 4-week schedule (may vary by unit depending on needs)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• New Mexico license can be pending at time of submission
• Must be comfortable with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Wear black scrubs (not provided by facility)
• Use Cerner charting system
• Work with Phillips cardiac monitors
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Expect majority of floors to be primary nursing with limited ancillary support
• Hospital operates above 100% capacity
• Facility can call off 3 times throughout 13-week assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must live outside 75-mile radius of facility
• RQI certifications not accepted
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
