Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Special Procedures

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call responsibilities required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• No minimum experience required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 5 patients with 5 visits per day
• Work in 2-room department within 224-bed facility
• Patient ratio experience of 3 required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Omnicell medication system used
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, Rhode Island state license
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Must be skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias, laser assisted procedures, and scrub procedures
• Perform specialized procedures including adrenal angiography, angiography of genitourinary system, cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, embolization, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, and uterine arterial embolization
• Handle endovascular interventions, equipment setup, room circulation, and maintain sterile field
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) required
• Candidates with pending Rhode Island licenses accepted but cannot start until license is active
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• One pre-approved time off allowed
