Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three shifts per week schedule
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours guaranteed per week with 48-hour contract options available
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required with 1 year in-specialty experience
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), CPI, with TNCC preferred
• Must complete fit test and flu vaccine (medical exemptions only)
• WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)
• Skills required: continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, and ventilated patient care
• May be floated within scope to meet facility needs
• Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case by case)
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Work in 5-bed emergency department plus 2 endoscopy beds
• Provide diagnostic services including electrocardiography, respiratory monitoring, suturing, and splint application
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours prior to start
• Orientation held every other Thursday
