Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with 32-bed unit
• Work every other weekend with maximum 7 days requested time off
• Floating required within the facility to like units
• Call is rare with 2-hour response time required
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Epic charting system preferred, also uses Pyxis and SBAR
• Care for adult to geriatric patients with overflow IMCU conditions
• Manage arrhythmias, cardioversion, cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal and pulmonary conditions
• Handle cardiac drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and post-cardiac catheterization care required
• Manage TR bands, cardiac arrhythmias, and surgical patients including cholecystectomy and chest tubes
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge and medical/surgical skills required
• Full compliance required to start on time with 36 orientation hours
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
