RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with 49 rooms and average daily census of 48
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system experience required, also uses Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating required within the facility
• No call requirements
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Specializes in renal medical-surgical care
• Skills required include blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin administration, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and pre/post hemodialysis management
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
