Opportunity:
RN - Tele
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts
• Minimum 2 years experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with 36 rooms and average daily census of 35
• Work every other weekend
• Floating required, no call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday work required based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred)
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Manage patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, wound care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant

The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains modern medical equipment including Pyxis medication dispensing and SBAR communication protocols. The organization offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support to ensure quality patient care.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
