Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 on a 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Work every other weekend with maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Floating required, no call requirements
• No holiday RTO will be approved
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required, also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Manage patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, CPAP/BIPAP, feeding tube care, and wound care
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Must have Georgia or Compact state license in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references required from Manager level or above
• Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
