Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Patient ratio 1:5 with 16 beds and average daily census of 16
• Must have Epic charting system experience (required)
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Floating required to other Cardiac Telemetry Units or other units as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work requirements based on number of holidays during assignment
• Care for patients with post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures
• Utilize telemetry monitoring, EKG, and Doppler equipment
• Work with Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication
• 24 orientation hours provided
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit
• Skills include cardiac telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, and various cardiac procedures
