Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 day off per week (day off varies)
• Call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) during 13-week contract
• 3 years of OR experience required, 4 years preferred
• Travel experience required - will not accept first-time travelers
• C-Section experience required
• Trauma/gunshot wound experience required
• Must have general OR experience across multiple specialties
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, PALS
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Must be willing to float within hospital as needed
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Operate in 5 OR suites until 3:00 PM, then 3 OR suites until 5:00 PM
• Experience with Mako robot preferred
• Must be proficient in multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics, ophthalmology, vascular, urology, and pulmonology procedures

This busy rural hospital operates 5 operating rooms and provides comprehensive surgical services to the community. The facility offers a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, OB/GYN with C-sections, orthopedics with total joint replacements, pediatric orthopedics, ophthalmology, vascular surgery, urology, and pulmonology procedures. The hospital maintains modern equipment including a Mako robotic surgical system and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy services.
