Opportunity:

Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts: weeknights 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must have a PharmD degree
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of North Carolina required
• At least one (1) year of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (recent experience preferred)
• Prior experience with pharmacist to dose protocols preferred
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility (local rules apply)
• Float within hospital as needed
• Provide customer service to healthcare team members over phone or in person
• Verify medication orders and review for patient allergies, drug interactions, and appropriate therapy
• Verify home medications against medication reconciliation reports
• Utilize pharmacist to dose consults and collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
• Check IV admixtures for accuracy and ensure preparation meets USP 797/800 guidelines
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred (must be AHA certified)
• Valid state license required with background check disclosure
