Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Must work every other weekend
• Floating required to nearby sister facilities as needed (rarely occurs)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• At least 1 year of travel experience required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle 150 daily census with 53 emergency department rooms
• Skills required include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insertion and maintenance, and triage
• Experience with Level I and II trauma centers preferred
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Indiana residents not accepted for this position
• Must have Indiana nursing license in hand prior to start date
• 2 supervisor references required
• University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
