Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Float required within skillset
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients with diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, and post-surgical patients
• Skills include large orthopedic program (total joints), colorectal surgeries, vascular procedures, and bariatric surgery
• Work with telemetry monitoring, PCA pumps, chest tubes, patient lifts, and capnography equipment
• Care for all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 32 patients across 44 beds in 34 rooms
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Two supervisor references required
