Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 1 year minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required (HARD STOP)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Float required to all MS and MS/Tele units within the hospital and possibly to sister campus (Piedmont Augusta Summerville) approximately 3 miles away
• Every other weekend required (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on number of holidays during assignment period
• Must work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Handle all potential MS and MS Tele diagnoses
• 24 orientation hours required
• Must be compliant to start on time or face 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
