Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
• Indiana state license required - must be in hand prior to start date
• Local Indiana residents not accepted for this position
• Dress code: red scrub top with black bottoms
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adults and geriatric patients in 14-bed ICU
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, central line care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency medications
• Free parking provided

Facility:

This 194-bed short-term acute care hospital features a comprehensive 14-bed ICU with an open heart program and neurosurgery services. The facility serves as a stroke center and level 2 trauma unit, offering advanced services including ECMO stabilization, STEMI care, manual proning, sepsis protocols, IABP, and CRRT capabilities. The hospital provides interdisciplinary support through physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various specialized departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
