Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend call coverage only (Saturday and Sunday) - rotated 1:5 with 4 full-time RTs
• Two 24-hour call shifts in a five-week time period
• 3-4 weekends per contract required
• Average daily census of 8 patients with 2 visits per day
• 5 years minimum experience required with travel experience mandatory
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT VI
• Must be proficient in interventional radiology and special procedures
• Perform angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, stent placement, thoracentesis
• Handle central venous access/port placement, PICC line care and maintenance
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain sterile field as scrub tech
• Work with acute inpatient, ED emergent, and outpatient routine procedure populations
• Handle trauma level I procedures including splenic, liver, and pelvic bleeds
• Use Siemens single plane and GE Biplane equipment, ultrasounds, and monitoring systems
• Document in EPIC system and use Pyxis medication system
• Scrubs provided
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
