Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work in emergency department with primary assignment in behavioral health unit
• Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule
• Floating to Pediatric ED when necessary
• Patient ratios: Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:6, can be up to 1:8 during high volume periods
• Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds available
• Required certifications: Michigan state license, ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Minimum 2 years emergency nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Preferred experience: continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, triage experience
• Complete 36 hours of orientation
• Complete mandatory modules (5 hours, non-billable)
• Work at Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Provide care for trauma patients including gunshot wounds, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, ventilated patients, and administer blood products
• Perform phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, and triage duties

The facility maintains a high-volume emergency department with 100 beds serving approximately 250 patients daily. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
