Description
Opportunity:
RN - PICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Holiday requirement if contract occurs during holiday periods
• Patient ratios vary: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 in mixed ICU and step-down unit
• Float within facility scope to meet operational needs
• 2 years of PICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for children ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses
• Manage patients with respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative cases, neurology/neurosurgery
• Work with advanced therapies including ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and ventilator management
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 4 hours (non-billable)
• 12-hour orientation period
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
