Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts, primarily days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) for 2 months, then nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) for 1 month
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule for days (including Saturdays and Sundays), up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule for nights (including Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Holiday requirements if contract period includes holidays
• Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 - mixed unit with ICU and stepdown patients
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of PICU experience required
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only)
• 12 hours of orientation
• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, and neurology/neurosurgery
• Provide complex supportive therapies including ECMO/CRRT, renal or peritoneal dialysis
• Work with interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, and pediatric pharmacists
• Epic charting system
• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June through November)
