Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg, PCU, and ER holding
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• Weekend shifts vary per contract
• 36 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle MS/PCU overflow patient diagnoses
• Must be proficient in extensive clinical skills including cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• Modules completed during first 16 hours of orientation (non-billable, average 2-3 hours)
