Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work first shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Weekend and evening/night on-call rotation required
• Primary and backup call rotation as needed
• 13-week contract assignments accepted
• Daily caseload of 13-17 patients
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with travel experience mandatory - first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (ARRT Advanced Certification preferred)
• Must have experience with vascular studies/procedures and neuro experience including stroke and body work
• Inpatient hospital experience required with PACS and contrast experience
• Must be skilled in all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abd and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access and neurological studies
• Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required (Acuson preferred)
• Epic and Visage experience preferred
• Must be skilled in both neuro/stroke interventions and body procedures
• Scrub experience required for maintaining sterile field
• Must be available for full orientation week with daily classes
• Scrubs provided
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

The department maintains modern equipment including Siemens and Phillips systems and operates with high patient volumes requiring experienced practitioners capable of independent decision-making in critical situations.
