Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• First week may work day shift for orientation, then set schedule begins
• On-call responsibilities required - must report within 1 hour when called
• On-call schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float to other pediatric imaging locations for critical staffing coverage as needed
• May float to other buildings on same campus when required
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Perform various imaging procedures including portable chest/abdomen, C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy, OR and ED imaging
• Use Siemens diagnostic equipment and C-arms
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, SCRQSA (R)
• OR experience and C-arm experience required (additional training available)
• Trauma experience and pediatric experience preferred
• Must provide own radiation badge
• South Carolina license must be in hand prior to start
• Scrub color: Teal top/Black bottoms
• Epic charting system
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

The facility operates 865 staffed beds and provides specialized pediatric care including inpatient and outpatient services. The imaging department features modern Siemens diagnostic equipment and offers comprehensive radiology services including fluoroscopy, portable imaging, operating room coverage, and emergency department support. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and offers extensive training opportunities for healthcare professionals.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
