Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 1 year minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience is a HARD STOP requirement - candidates without Epic will be redirected
• Must work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every other weekend required (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
• Floating required to all MS and MS/Tele units within the hospital and possible to sister campus approximately 3 miles away
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, must work 2 of them
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 24 hours of orientation (non-billable)
• Must handle all potential Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry diagnoses
• Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
