Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday shifts
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must be able to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
• Specialized surgical procedures include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• Work with patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular procedures, PM shift focuses on cardiovascular procedures
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating to other units or affiliate hospitals is required
• Two supervisor references required
