Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Patient ratio of 1:8 with team nursing model
• Work with LPN/Paramedic and PCT to complete tasks and medication administration
• 16 rooms with average daily census of 16 patients
• Patient diagnoses include chest pain, CHF, ESRD, anemia, and abdominal pain
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Every other weekend schedule unless specified otherwise
• Floating within facility as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Skills required include blood product administration, CVA care, heparin administration, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, pre/post hemodialysis management, IV management, and telemetry
• Full compliance required to start on time
