Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in Critical Care Unit (CCU) with 12-bed capacity and daily census of 10 patients
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float to medical/telemetry units as needed
• Weekend coverage required with 14 weekend shifts per contract
• Self-scheduling system with one pre-approved time off period
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience required with travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Required skills include: arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip management, chest tube assistance, and management of complex critical care patients
• Must complete non-billable orientation modules averaging 6-8 hours
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
