Job Details:

• Specializing in Transplant OR nursing with focus on abdominal transplants including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures
• Available shift options: 8-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, or 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week for four 12-hour shifts
• Call requirement: 40-60 hours per 6-week period
• Float required to multi-specialty areas and all surgeries
• Weekend coverage required with mandatory work on 2 out of 3 major holidays
• May occasionally float to pediatric transplant unit to assist
• Minimum 2 years of strong transplant experience required
• Must have actual transplant procedure experience within the last 2 years
• Required certifications: BLS, Regulatory Charting for Transplants
• Must have Indiana license, temporary license, or compact license at time of start
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Free parking provided
• Work with patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Must be comfortable with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and various transplant procedures
• First-time travelers accepted with strong transplant background
