Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hours per week with guaranteed 40 hours
• Patient ratios of 1:4 during days and 1:4-5 during nights and weekends
• Weekend rotation required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with IV start experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling limited to no more than 3-4 shifts
• Any requests for time off must be approved and documented prior to start of assignment
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, sepsis, respiratory, and stroke diagnoses
• Perform cath lab procedures and EP procedures including Watchman and ablations
• Work with telemetry skills required
• Meditech charting experience required
• Any color scrubs acceptable with free parking provided
• Expect to work some holidays
• Must complete drug screen within 24 hours of signing

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 149-bed Level 3 trauma center that provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The progressive care unit features 22 beds with a daily census of 16 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
