Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• ASAP start required
• 2 years of experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Every other weekend required (6 per contract)
• Float required within skillset
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including congestive heart failure, MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke/TIA, COPD, diabetes, and sepsis
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Work with special procedures including peritoneal dialysis and NIHSS assessments
• Utilize safe patient handling equipment and ceiling lifts available in every room
• 34-bed unit with daily census of 27 patients
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Two supervisor references required
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
