Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call rotation required every fourth week (call begins Monday afternoon and ends the following Monday morning at 6:00 AM)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB, Kentucky license
• Equipment experience: GE, Phillips, and Siemens
• Must be proficient with starting and maintaining IVs
• Skills required include various nuclear medicine procedures: abdominal, ventricular, whole body, bone, brain, liver, renal scans
• Perform specialized procedures including sestamibi parathyroid scan, adenosine infusion, exercise/rest studies, persantine infusion, and pharmacological stress testing
• Work with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Support inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, CCU, and NICU services
• Pediatric experience preferred
• May float to different units as needed
• Must complete facility modules during orientation and annually
