Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient care, medication administration, and sterilization techniques in the Cath Lab
• Act as patient advocate while assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions
• Call schedule: 9-10 days per month with every second or third weekend call
• Weekend coverage required with two call shifts per contract
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult patient population with average of 11 visits per day in 3-room facility
• Work with specialized equipment including MacLab, Impella, Penumbra, Laser, Rotoblade, CSI, Hybrid systems, and Pacemaker equipment
• Handle all heart, vascular, structural, and interventional radiology procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and current Arkansas license or Compact State license
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Cath Lab experience required, Interventional Radiology strongly preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Charting system experience required (Cerner preferred)
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593
