Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours per week for four 12-hour shifts
• On-call requirement of approximately 110 hours
• Work one full weekend within a 6-week call schedule
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Specializes in cardiovascular and heart/lung transplant cases
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
• Required certifications: NBSTA (must be in hand), BLS
• Indiana state license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Local candidates accepted for surgical services positions
• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
