Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, and Indiana state license
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Work with angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Perform stents, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
• Two IR technologists assigned to each room - one circulates and the other scrubs
• Must score 3s & 4s only for neuro on skillset checklist
• Floating to affiliate hospitals is 100% required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• First-time travelers accepted
• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts or extension of contract depending on FTE status

This major healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art interventional radiology department with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms. The facility is designated as Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke center, providing comprehensive vascular interventional and neuro interventional services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes advanced imaging technology to support complex interventional procedures across multiple specialties.
